San Francisco, Here We Come

Yeah! Erica got in safe and sound, Tommy too.

We are off and running. I set up a six hour San Francisco tour with AM/PM tours and Manuel picked us up at 8:30 am at our campground. image This tour was great. We would never have seen so much of this city without the tour. We saw the Bay Bridge, image Coit tower, image            the financial district, image

imageThis building had the most expensive rent in the world at one time, $1000 a square foot.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Lombard Street (the crooked street),image                                                                                           See how the shrubs are zig-zagged, that is the shape of the street.

It was so worth the $59 each. Manuel was so informative and gave so many details. We had plenty of time at each site and never felt rushed. He was great. I strongly recommend  this. And there was only 2 other people on the tour with us. It really was like we were having a private tour.

Tommy surprised Kerry and showed up at her house. She did not know he was coming. He accompanied her to University or PA hospital for a check up ad she is doing great. He then visited my mother who is still in the nursing rehab facility, regaining her strength after her long hospitalization for pneumonia. She’s improving and wants to go home badly. He’s also planning a sneak attack on the grandkids too while he is home.

A nice sunset was a great topper for the day.image
