It’s a cold, windy, but sunny start today. More windy than when we left Amarillo. 7000 feet was the elevation we traveled. You know you are high up when you can look down on the clouds! We ran into a weather system going across NM and hit winds that nearly blew us off the road. White out snow conditions were next. Tommy held the road and we got out if it to pretty sunny skies. Stayed in Farmington, NM at a Walmart. Got there early and it ended being a day of rest. Developed pictures.
Congratulations to my grand daughter Jaida who entered a coloring contest for Easter and WON! She was in the newspaper, The Cecil Whig, and received a $25 gift certificate to a skating rink. She loves to skate so that was a perfect prize. Congrats!!!
